The PS3 is Sony’s first HD Giant. It came with the Blu-ray disc technology holding more space on its formats that eventually became a standard for even its competitor Microsoft. The PlayStation 3 became the everybody console that lasted for years.

 

Since it’s debut in 2006, it arguably has the most well-rounded library of the 7th generation consoles. It had a rocky start with its infamous $600 USD price tag, but it recovered at the end massively making a comeback against the Xbox 360 with its own exclusives like The Last of Us and franchises like Little Big Planet, Uncharted and Infamous and and can often be heralded as one of the greatest consoles ever made.
